Restaurant.Com 80% Off!

Enter Promo Code MENU at checkout!
Offer runs until Sunday, March 15th.

For those of you who are new to our site or to Restaurant.com, you REALLY get a $25 gift certificate to the restaurant you choose for only $2. On most restaurants, you have to have a total bill of at least $35, then you use your gift certificate, and that takes your bill down to about $10 plus tip. So once you factor in the $2 you spent on the gift card you get a $35 meal for $12 plus tip.

How long does it take to get the gift card? Is it email or regular mail?

Tamra said...

You actually just print it from your own computer so it is instant!

I just ordered from three different restaurants. After you pay it will send an email so you can print the gift certificate out. Great price!

If you go through Cashbaq.com and then go to Restaurant.com, you can get 25% back of what you spend on certificates.

you said that you usually pay $10 plus tip....did you mean that when you go with your family your bill usually ends up being $45 so after applying the $35 gift certificate you only have $10 out of pocket? Or does everyone always have to pay an additional $10 when you use the gift certificate?

What is the expiration date on the coupons?

Oops- that's what I meant. Not the expiration date on the coupons...the expiration date of the gift certificates...

You have one year from date of purchase to use the gift certificates. Not too bad!

Can you use more than one gift certificate at a time? (For example, if you had two $25 certificates for Cazba, and you spent $70 on a meal, could you use both of your gift certificates at a time?)

Has anyone tried any of these restaurants? Are any worth trying?

Andrea, I love Ono Hawaiian Cafe. Plus stayed tuned all you KCL readers. I'm working on a way to have a compiled list of restaurant reviews just for these Restaurant.com participators.

ok, so my hubby and I are restaurant.com junkies! We frequent Siam Thai, Raw, and Kodiak grill.
If anyone is a sushi lover - Raw is hands down the best in Boise!!

I would say be careful I printed some and the places wouldn't take them.

Mandy- which restaurants did you try to use, and why did they say they wouldn't take them?
Anyone else ever had this problem?

I've only ever had good experiences with restaurants.com--we've used them at Brick 29 bistro (my favorite), Bombay Grill, Stagecoach Inn, Mai Thai, Cheerleaders, and The Stuffed Olive (yum). We bought certificates at a lot of other restaurants, and I'm excited to try them all!

Ive never had a problem using any of mine either, thats really odd! Yes, please let us know where youve had trouble so we can avoid the same - or at least call ahead and ask questions!

What about the fact that you have to spend at leats 35 dollar before you can use the gift certificate. The one on melting pot said that you had to spend 200 Dollars? Is this true??

Joanie Demer said...

Rachelle,
That's why I said at least $35. Every restaurant is different. The Melting Pot in Boise requires you buy 2 entrees for the $25 gift certificate. Since they are sold out of the smaller GCs the $100 one is the only one left and Yes, it says that there is a minimum $200 order to use the $100 GC. Just make sure you read and understand the requirements and this can be a great way to save on eating out.

We just went to the Cafe Vicienne (I think that's how you spell it) last night and it was good but we won't go back. If there is a restaurant review thing I'd love to join. Hubby and I love trying new restaurants.
