If I were you.....

...I would wait until Monday to buy your Post Cereal,
because I have a sneaky suspicion Albies will be doubling again.....

Don't kill the messenger if I'm wrong, but I think I will be waiting.

I've always been a bit of a gambler!

Help!! Will someone explain how to use the discount codes on the Kohl's website??? I got an email with the codes for Kohls from PYP, but I can't see where to put them in during checkout.

Thanks

Evaly- It looks like you add the items you want to the cart, enter your information, including name and address, and then proceed to checkout and on the same page as payment info there is a line for gift cards and promo codes.
Remember- you can combine 1 shipping code and 1 % off code. Hope this helps!

i discovered your blog and subscribed a week ago. got the free pizza before domino's fixed that problem...yay. but this whole coupon thing reminds me just a little bit of jumping rope at recess as a kid, when two people are spinning it and you have to figure out how to time it and jump in without messing up?

i'd love to get in on the cereal deal, but i'm not sure what a newbie needs to do/know to get in on this deal. i actually dreamed about it last night...trying to become a kcl and figuring out the system. is there a printable coupon i missed out on? is it just the weekly flier? is there something online?

the other question i had was about the references to the various "Smart Source" or other coupon sources. where does one get those? are they something that comes in the mail to people? is there a key or legend on this site that answers these questions that i haven't noticed?

sorry if i'm being redundant. i'm just getting excited about playing this game, but haven't started and am trying to figure out how to dive in and win. ♥

Cereal is the EASIEST deal you can get. You go to albies and buy five boxes of cereal. It's post non sugary type cereal. They have huge stackouts with signs. You can't miss them. Take your five boxes to checkout. You will pay like eight dollars and some cents I think. Then after you pay a five dollar catalina will print. Then you can buy five more and use the five dollar catalina to pay and only pay a dollar something. A catalina is a coupon that is like cash at albertsons. So you only end up paying 67 cents a box for cereal. Great Deal. There are also coupons that came in last sundays paper for $1 off two boxes which makes them 17 cents a box. Even a better deal. Still worth buying even if you don't have a stash of coupons built up yet. GOOD LUCK. Go get some cereal.

Blue- Great analogy! It can be so confusing when you are just starting out! Sorry to add to the confusion.
I use a website called pinching your pennies and they get the weekly ad up early and they match the sale items with coupons... which is what we pass on the our readers... So the Post Promo came out in the Sunday Flier.
The smartsource coupons come in the Sunday Newspaper, as do most of the coupons we reference here. If you aren't subscribed to the Sunday paper yet, you should think about doing that!

Under our header is a "coupon basics" tab- which I would suggest you browse.

Good luck! I hoe this helps, feel free to ask more questions as you go!

cool! thanks kelsey and heather! i'm so excited about this. i found your site through my friend tiffany church. i'm grateful for her tip about this whole thing. it's part of my getting a three-month (initially) food storage together, learning how to bake bread, and becoming "prepared" bent right now. good timing for that, huh.

post cereals, here i come! (now where can i get hold of last sunday's paper???) ;-)

(and "catalina"...in my dream last night i was trying to remember that word but couldn't recall it. i seriously dreamed about getting this whole cereal deal. only in my dream you also got two gallons of free milk with the five boxes of cereal for like $.19 each. my checker was really nice and patient in my dream. hopefully the albies one will be too! i don't know what it says about me that i'm dreaming of coupon deals and cereal. clearly i need therapy.)

Ha ha! You are on your way to being a KCL! I dream about couponing too. Sure sign that it's time for therapy!

If you are looking for an Albertsons with lots of cereal I know for a fact the one on 12th and Greenhurst had like 2,000 boxes come in just yesterday when I was there and the Asst Manager I talked to about it was begging me to take like 200 off his hands. I got 10 different kinds and still didn't try them all.

If I wait until Monday is there a chance they could get rid of this deal by then.

Can someone tell me which Albertsons are offering the Scott's TP for 10 for $10? I'm sure they sell out quickly, but I'd like to call one of them. The Caldwell store doesn't have this deal. Thanks!

JAKE. The promotion runs 10 days from last Sunday.
