I've had zero luck in finding the Capri sun SUNRISE items, I was told by 2 different Albertson's that they don't carry that item yet? Has anyone seen them today? Thanks!

I'm such a coupon rookie! How many trips was that or can you use one coupon + one doubler for the same item?

My albertsons had no problem doing normal capri sun, I couldn't find sunrise either I would have like to but I was glad they didn't mind so I could still get .50 capri sun.

My Albertson's (Emmett) had lots of Sunrise.

Check the bottom of your Albertsons receipts; I got an offer for a free loaf of french bread with next purchase if I take their survey..heads up gals. I am not sure if it's random or on qualifying purchases:FYI i bought bliss candy, breyers ice cream, albies' ice cream sandwiches, easter sale items, and sargents finishers.

The McCormick grill mates seasonings are 10/$10 at Kroger & Smith's this week. So they only end up being $0.25 with the $0.75 coupon!

The FREE French Bread Offer only prints out now and then. My cashier (a few months ago) said "oh, this is a good one" and she wrote her name down at the bottom of the receipt. She led me to believe I if I were to take the survey she would get some sort of credit. The bread is a great source for making homemade garlic bread using Ina Garten's recipe (Barefoot Contessa!) :-) :-)

Where the doubler says 3 per household, do you make different trips to different stores, or go through to different checkers, have you ever had a checker recognize you and tell you you already used your 3?

Anna said...

The checkers will usually let you use more doublers as long as you only use 3 per transaction. I just line them up, one after another. Make sure you ask first, but I have never had one say no.

You will usually need to make several trips to do this many transactions... I have a great Albertsons and they know me and mostly like me, so they don't mind doing a few in a row. Another reason it pays to play nice with the checkers... :)

I had a problem using the doublers too, i specifically asked last night at the Five mile store and they one set of doublers per visit-he specifically said I could NOT split up into different transactions which makes things a little difficult!!

I went to 2 stores looking for CapriSun Sunrise as well. They both said they don't carry them yet but I went and looked closer at the 2nd store and the price tags were for them, they were just out.

My first Albertsons trip was at 6am (I waited in the parking lot for them to open for about 3 minutes, Krazy has reached a whole new level!). Since I was the only one there, the checker let me do all my coupons, just in separate transactions. If it would have been busy, I don't know whether or not I still could have but anyway, I think it depends on the cashier.

Thanks Heather. My checker gal couldn't get the gaterade coupons to work. I'll have to go back later. I found Sara Lee cheesecake bites on clearance for $2.89...less 3 $1/1 coupon from 4/19 doubled. So They cost $3.01 including tax and a $1 catalina printed. Not too bad.

I felt weird about trying to do seperate transactions for all my doublers at the same store at the same time. I get 7 newspapers so I had 21 doublers!! Thankfully we live in the land of Albertsons so it wasn't TOO hard to go to multiple stores. I live in Eagle so I started there and hit every Albertsons (4) along State St until I got to the store on 17th and then I turned back and hit the same stores on the way back. I did have one checker ask if I was just in the store an hour ago (I didn't even go through his line the first time--weird). I just smiled and said "yes". It took longer than I thought, but it was well worth it!! Last night I decided, I am officially KRAZY!! ;)

The Albies on Orchard let me use several transaction's at once. They are very nice at this store and they have extra doubler's on the add stand at the front!

I am in Washington State and I tried to use a $2 off Snuggle and double it. In the past that meant 3.00 off because the max is 1.00 off but they wouldn't let me do it. Has Albertson got a certain double off policy that I am not aware of? It would have been a great deal. 3.99- 2.00 plus 1.00 would have been .99 for Snuggle.

miriama-
The coupons says anything over $1.01 is not eligible to be doubled (they probably worded it better), but some individual stores have been letting customers take $1 off even if the coupon is for more, which is nice of them but they technically shouldn't be doing it! It may just depend on your store and checkers.... Hope this helps! :)
