Restaurant.com 80% Off!

This is the big one! 80% off is the best sale Restaurant.com offers. Time to stock up everybody!
Enter Code: LUCKY at checkout
Valid til April 30th.

A little Restaurant.com info for newbies. Restaurants.com is a form of advertising for many restaurants looking for more customers. Restaurant owners sacrifice on their price margin but in return get new customers. On the restaurant.com website, you'll be asked to enter your zip code and it will pull up participating restaurants in your area. The you will see a list of restaurants and a selection of gift card prices. A $25 gift card is regularly priced at $10 (so 80% off means you'll pay only $2). The only catch is there is a minimum purchase amount: clearly listed under the gift card prices. Usually the customer must have a total initial bill of $35. Then you pay with your $25 gift card and your total could be as low as $10 plus gratuity for a $35 meal. It's as simple as that. Don' be a skeptic! Once you pay for your gift card you may print it immediately from your computer- so you could dine for lunch or dinner today if you wish!

Bonus for local readers just at KCL:
KCL has been working on conducting Restaurant.com Reviews to aid you in your decision of which restaurants you might like to try for the first time. Please find our "restaurant reviews" tab and read through. Hope the reviews can help you make your decision!

Do the coupons expire soon? If not, this is a great time to stalk up.

Good question. The coupons are good for a whole YEAR!

One word of caution about stocking up...ocassionally the restraunts decide not to participate in the program anymore, so restraunts.com will issue you a refund, but some of the restraunts that were once on there may not be on there anymore, or they may raise their minimum purchase amount.

Also, you cannot use more than one gift certificate to one restraunt more than once a month.

So, my only suggestion would be to use a varied number of restraunts if you plan on eating out more than once month and using gift certificates.

I have used about 5-6 of these already and it IS a great deal!

So I have question then. If the restaurant's aren't on the site anymore in say August and I have a certificate I bought in April that is good for a year, they won't accept it?

Does anyone know the answer to that. Because I went overboard on certificates and I have a ton....

March 10th was the last time Restaurant.com offered gc's at 80% off. Before that was Feb 27.

Knowing that, I wouldn't go TOO Krazy buying them, since this isn't a once a year offer. Personally I would buy 3 or 4 and wait until the next 80% offer. Hope this helps!

Tammy- If you go to restaurant.com before you are ready to use the gift certificate, and the website isn't listed anymore, I would simply call the restaurant and ask them if they will still honor it, chances are they will, but it's better to be safe! And if they won't you will just need to call restaurant.com and have them refund you, or switch it to a new place!

I have gotten an email from Restraunts.com when a particular restraunt decides not to participate any longer. They put a $25 credit towards your account and you can purchase from a different restraunt....but the list of the restraunts might be different at that time, so just keep that in mind.

I was a little disappointed that I had gotten three gift certificates to a restraunt that is very near to my home and casual (thinking of toting kids along-LOL) and after purhasing once from the restraunt, they decided not to participate any longer. I had gotten the feeling this particular restraunt was newer and just opening and really couldn't afford to promote that way anyway. Ie-they didn't "jump" at the chance to take these certificates. LOL Just my experience!! Hope it helps!
