Target Travel Size Section

Now that the Target Coupon Policy is cleared up (read details here), I wanted to make a post about Target's travel size section. Every Target I've shopped at has this section somewhere in the back of the store by the personal care items, prices usually range from about $0.50 to $1.50 per item. The majority of manufacturer coupons exclude trial size or specify a certain number ounces or larger. But, there are still plenty of coupons out there that do not. I always check my coupons that are $1 off or greater to see if they exclude trial size, and if they don't I can often get things for free at Target. I enjoy having trial size lotions, toothpaste and shampoo for travel or emergency kits. Make sure to swing by Target's Trial size section with your coupon binder next time you're in the store.

At the Eagle Target they have Colgate Sponge Bob toothpaste for .50. I bought two and used one .50 off a Colgate kids toothbrush/toothpaste and .75 off of any Colgate toothpaste - an overage of .25!

Don't forget to always peruse the CLEARANCE end caps of "Tar-Jay" in the outer perimeter of the store (where most shoppers normally don't bother to shop!) You often see various types of toothpastes, shampoos, deodorants, etc. marked way down. The Eagle store *always* has different clearance items than the Boise store so check both if you have time! :-)
