Walgreens Highlights

These are two of my favorite deals at Wags this week. Both will be free, and I love stocking up on medicine- especially when it's free, or I am making $2 each!!

If you are new to Walgreens and Couponing, Start Nice and Easy- and just go do these 2 deals. Do 1 transaction with the Ecotrin, then the 2nd transaction with the Bayer
(and use the Ecotrin RR to pay for the Bayer)

Ecotrin 45ct Tablets $2

Use this $2.25/1 (will probably need to be adjusted down!)
Earn a $2 RR when you buy 1

Final Price: Free Plus $2.00 Overage!!

Bayer Quick release Crystals $2.49
Earn a $2.49 RR when you buy 1
Final Price: FREE

it's just that all wags are out of their ecotrin....Heather, your coupon bar doesn't show up on my computer. I'm not sure why, but it doesn't on DQ's either? I wonder how many other people don't have access to this. can you help?

This has nothing to do with Walgreens. I recently did the Albertsons promo. I went to the Albertsons on fairview and Cherry lane. My first experience here, using coupons, was awesome! They were organized, had a lot of the items stocked right by the front door and EVEN took the time to tape some coupons to the items! I was shocked! I have never seen this before! On top of all this the cashier was AMAZING! I think it is just refreshing to see this kind of customer service! I know this is something they don't have to do. Boy did I appreciate it! I mostly wanted to write this becase while making small talk with the some of the cashiers,I have learned that a few check the blog out! So I wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU! I was impressed!

I called Walgreen's corporate about adjusting the coupons down and they said it's something they are no longer able to do.

I was at Walgreens last night and they couldn't adjust the coupon down, but they did just charge me $2.25 for the Ecotrin.

The store down the street to me has been adjusting down the $30.00 Bayer Meter coupons, I wonder what the difference is? My husband bought 2 meters last night and they adjusted the $30.00 coupon to $14.99 and didn't say anything about it.

FYI for those of you looking to donate the meters....my husband is a Paramedic for Ada Co. and told me he runs a lot of calls to our local homeless shelters because quite a few of the men are diabetic. I'm sure they could use a new meter.

just buy 2 for 4 use the 2.25 coupon pay 1.75 for 2 - still .25 overage when you consider the $2RR.

At our Walgreens, they had $1 off coupons on the bayer right next to the display. Which made it free, plus a little overage.

All the Walgreens in my area are out of the Ecotrin also. I went in last night to get a couple mouthwash and body washes, and those were all out as well. The cashier was telling me how frustrating it is every Sunday morning when the "couponing brigade" comes in and clear out all the shelves just between a couple different women. While of course it's great to stock up, I think we need to remember to be considerate of others while we're at it, and not completely over-do it so that other women don't even get the chance.

okay so I'm living in Denver for the summer...and although I miss Boise.. I will admit it is SO nice to go to any Walgreens and find exactly what I'm looking for. And this week I have gone KRAZY there! I have gotten $200 worth of products for $35! (I was excited my razors are on sale)

So the Ecotrin is $2.99 here. I have the coupon for $2.25 off and end up paying .94 for each one..making $1.05 in the process! Thanks for the tip!

My question now is...do you have any idea where I can donate these? I have no need for them..and would love to give them away. Would nursing homes want somehting like this?
