according too the Oprah site you are allowed 4 downloads of the coupon.
I was able to print 4. I just had to completely close out of the screen and reclick the link each time.
now i know what's for dinner tonight! mmmm, KFC from the KCL!
When I try to print it goes to the thing and then a blank screen and nothing happens with the printer. Anyone else having the problem?
RE: amanda....I am having the same problem. Unable to access the screen to print.
Amanda,
This coupon is seriously flooding the blog world right now. I'm sure that due to high traffic, the system is feeling overwhelmed. I just tried and was successful in printing. Have you printed bricks coupons before? If you get stuck on the screen that says "please wait" replace the vi or wi with vg or wg in the url. The url differs for internet explorer and firefox.
I cashed my coupons in for dinner tonight. YUMMY! I called ahead to make sure that they took the coupons. She made it sound like if the store was part of a Franchise, they wouldn't take them. Guess you just have to go in and see.
I couldn't print them in AOL, but printed no problem once I switched to IE browser, maybe that will help if you are having trouble!!!
tried with fire fox and wouldnt work, switched to internet explorer and worked after a few attempts. On the fourth print it auto downloaded a pdf file of the coupon. Unlimited printing, but im sure that falls in to the not acceptable category :)
I just went to the website to print and it takes you to a PDF coupon. Do you think it is still valid?
My daughter just used one of the pdf file coupons and it worked for her with no problem!
It says 4 prints per computer in the fine print on oprahs site just to let you know.
Melissa,
Good eye! I just revised the post and added the print limit as stated by Oprah's website. Thank you!
Be careful and be honest and only print four. Coupon fraud is punishable by law and we all want these kind of deals to stay around and be offered again!
I was only able to print this coupon once, and it was from bricks. : (
Thanks though!
My computer printed 4 automatically. I had to ask the overwhelmed server very nicely a few times, but when it worked my printer spat out 4 coupons automatically. Thats 2 free dinners for me and hubby, with plenty to share with our 2 year old! =)
I printed 4 of the pdf copies yesterday but today decided to try and get the original coupons. I was only able to get 2 so I took those with me also. My KFC had a sign on each register with the pdf copy saying they were not accepting these. Luckily, I had the other 2 so I still got 2 free meals and they were yummy! Thanks for the updates!
I had bricks coupons and redeemed them tonight on State St. in Boise. They were also accepting the pdf coupons. They required you get mashed potatoes and cole slaw and that was the greasiest grilled chicken I've ever tasted in my life. But free is free and I am grateful for a clean kitchen and my kids' full bellies. Thanks KFC!
In TF they are making you attach your coupons (up to 4) to a form with your name and address. They will then mail you different coupons good for the meal plus a soda. I would guess this is how they will verify the 4 coupon limit.
One of the clerks said people had printed or copied numerous copies above the stated quantity limit and this is how they (corporate) decided to resolve the issue.
a "grilled" chicken option from KFC sounds like a good idea... it would be even better if they didn't use meat from biologically engineered chicken-beasts
