Walgreens 5/17-5/23-- Lovin' the RR Scenarios!

- You can't use a RR on the same product you got it from. For example- this week if you buy the Colgate and a RR prints, you can't buy another Colgate, use the RR, and have a new Register Reward print. You can however Use the Colgate RR to buy the Dry Idea Deodorant. You could do multiple transactions with those 2 products and just swap RR's.

- Also, remember you have to have more products than manufacturer coupons, including Register Rewards. If you are buying Right Guard Deodorant and using a manufacturer coupon and a RR it won't let you unless you add a filler item (like a cheap pencil or piece of candy!)

-Here is what we have found is the best order to hand the cashier your coupons (if you have a different order that work better- let us know...) This way will allow for any possible overage! 1.Manufacturer Coupons, 2. IVCs (instant value coupons- from the booklet by the front doors), 3. Walgreens Ad Coupons, 4. Register Rewards

I was told this last week that they have changed things. I was purchasing RR item that was different than the original item that I had received a RR on. I was not given a new RR. The manager said things are beginning to change and that the manufactures are loosing too much money.

I am new to this, so I may have done things in the wrong order, but from what I have been told. You can not recieve a RR for an item you are paying with a RR.

I would love clarification if I am doing things all wrong.

I had heard rumors about this- but I thought that was all they were. I will look into it on Monday- and let everyone know. This would be bad bad news.

Hey, BTW:

On the Right Guard promo in the Walgreens ad this week they messed up by picturing the Orange (can't remember right off hand what it's called) R.G. Most of the stores have signs up. However, listed in the print it says the Clinical Strength Dry Idea is included. There is a coupon for $2/1 Dry Idea Roll On product. Their clinical strength comes in a roll on form and a stick form. If you use it correctly on the roll-on type this makes the deal a money maker. It is 5.99 - use the 2.00 coupon - get a $5.00 RR. SWEET! I got four of them.

Would the excedrin be .40 if you're using 2 $1/1 coupons and their price is $2.40 B1G1?

Also, if you get 2 of the Off Clip On's could you use 1 B1G1 and the $2/1 since there are two items?

I was just at the walgreens (5/18) and all my rr printed out, even when I was pay with rr.

But I could not find a B1G1 Excedrin anywhere.

The RR's are still working for me the same as normal! As long as I don't use an RR from the same manufacturer it works just fine, or at least it did today. I thought the whole point to getting rid of their rebates was so that they could offer more RR's?

If I use a coupon from the ad and then a manufacturer coupon-so then I have 2 coupons I'm using on 1 item do I need a filler item?

Walgreens lovers...
Go to walgreens.com and you can print a $5 of $25 coupon that is only good on the 20th and 21st. That is $25 after coupons rr ect. so you'll have $20 oop, but think of all the stuff you can get. with coupons, sale items, ect. They have a smores combo listed on sale for $6,you can use the ip for the gram crackers, the combo coupon from last weeks paper and get it all for $4. Anymore ideas of how to spend $25?
