- You can't use a RR on the same product you got it from. For example- this week if you buy the Colgate and a RR prints, you can't buy another Colgate, use the RR, and have a new Register Reward print. You can however Use the Colgate RR to buy the Tropicana. You could do multiple transactions with those 2 products and just swap RR's.
- Also, remember you have to have more products than manufacturer coupons, including Register Rewards. If you are buying Colgate and using a manufacturer coupon and a RR it won't let you unless you add a filler item (like a cheap pencil or piece of candy or a Sunday newspaper!)
-Here is what we have found is the best order to hand the cashier your coupons (if you have a different order that work better- let us know...) This way will allow for any possible overage! 1.Manufacturer Coupons, 2. IVCs (instant value coupons- from the booklet by the front doors), 3. Walgreens Ad Coupons, 4. Register Rewards

My Walgreen's wouldn't let me use both coupons for the sunscreen because one of them was free, so it wasn't quite the amazing deal I was hoping for. I did, however, get the 8oz. Kids version that had a 2oz. bonus tube attached. I got two of these (for a total of 20 ounces of sunscreen for less than $10, which is still a really good deal.
I'm heading to the store now and lan to use BOGO Reach toothbrush coupons from a March insert (don't know date). I'm looking to use the 2/$5+BOGO+$3 RR and get .50 overage.
Hope it works. The 2/$5 is good for two of the same, correct. I believe the circular said floss "or" brush, not "and"
Shouldn't they let you use two coupons since you have two products, even though one is free? My other question is...what is everyone using as a filler item? I needed another product so I would have an equal amount of products to coupons and I couldn't find a cheap filler item! The cheapest item I found was a 50 cent piece of candy. Any ideas?
Sarah
The filler items are hard for me too. But sometimes I will find something in the clearance bin or lately at my store there have been dog treats on clearance and I get them for .50 ea.
Also they do have their dried fruit in the boxes for a dollar. A little bit more money, but at least you get something healthy!
