Walmart Deals this week

Walmart's ad doesn't have any grocery prices this week, but here are some great deals at Walmart using some of the AMAZING printables from our coupon bar. {Seriously, I have NEVER seen this many good coupons up there EVER! Make sure you've seen them all and printed all you'll use!}

Ritz crackers convenient pack $0.97
(I saw these near registers at State/Glenwood location)
$1/1 coupon from the coupon bar
Final Price: FREE

Kraft BBQ Sauce $0.98
$1/1 from the coupon bar
Final Price: FREE

Kraft Mayo varies $2-2.98
$1/1 from the coupon bar
$1/1 Target Printable
Final Price: Free or cheap

Reported but Unconfirmed deals:

Generic whole milk $1.58/gallon

Febreeze Noticeables $4.83
$4/1 from 5/3 P&G Insert
Final Price: $0.83

(Walmart accepts competitor coupons and will take one store coupon and one manufacturer coupon for the same item. . . well at least they should. Walmart has very poor consistency in administrating their coupon policy. Brace yourself, but it's worth a try!)

I called my local Walmart and they said that they do not accept competitor coupons. I would call your local store to check their policy.

If Walmart WILL accept the manufacturers and competitors coupons, that would make the Treetop Apple Juice coupon $2/3 from Fred Meyer and the 1.00 off manufacturers coupon a good pair.

I have had a 50/50 luck at Walmart. I think this is where it helps to size up the cashiers. I know many times I have used the Babies R Us coupons for $5.00 off coupons along with the manufacturers coupons of $1.50 for Pampers or Huggies with no problem. I have had a problem with them taking Target coupons though-they won't manually input them, if it beeps, then you are out of luck!

During Christmas time they have done really well at the local (Boise area) Walmarts of price matching toys/ect. These have been my experiences.

I don't like to talk smack about Walmart, but when I can't talk about their policy without it coming across very negatively. I feel it is my responsibility to prepare our readers for what they are likely to face at Walmart. Walmart has a coupon policy which you could print and take in, that says they do accept competitor coupons. But corporate Walmart has the official power to leave policy up to the stores and the stores choose to often leave the policy up to the individual cashiers or managers on duty!!!! Can you think of a worse plan? I can't. Heather and I both have had a sit down with the general manager of Fairview/Eagle and he is willing to take no action to establish a firm policy. We've done all we can to contact corporate Walmart on the matter with no positive response. We don't care what Walmart's policy is- we just wish they would pick ONE policy and stick to it. It seems a logical thought to me, but not to them. So best of luck to you all in shopping and figuring out your individual store and their corresponding policies which may or may not change with each shift an employee works. . . ah sheesh!

Also at walmart you can get french's classic mustard for 1.00, then use the $.75 off coupon that came in Sunday's paper making the final price $.25!

On your coupon policy it states that they do not take a comet and a man for one item. Could that be different now?

Sorry my comment doesn't make sense. Had to put the baby down. It says they don't take a competitor and a manufacture.

Joanie, where did you find their policy that states they accept competitor coupons? It states they accept "store coupons" but I take that to mean they accept walmart coupons. It also says "•Internet coupons should be legible and say "Manufacturer Coupon." There should be a valid remit address for the manufacturer and a scannable bar code". To me that would mean they wouldn't take target coupons since they are printed, but don't say mfg on them... unless you can get the target coupons somewhere other than on the net.

I use the coupons that print out from Fred Meyer at the Walmart on Overland all the time. I've never had a problem using competitors coupons there, but when the checkers look confused, I just tell them that Walmart takes competitors coupons, and then they run them through. It's almost like the checkers don't understand their own policies, so they just take my word for it.

Hey Suzette,

Walmart matches competitor prices and I've been told by corporate and managers that they accept store coupons, and I've used them successfully (and unsuccessfully) many times. I guess the written policy doesn't state that, or at least not clearly!
Albies just discontinued the practice of accepting competitor coupons. When any store, Albies, Walmart whoever accept a competitor coupon, they don't expect it to scan (although I had some Albies cashiers tell me Target coupons would sometimes scan.) Target store coupons ARE NOT manufacturer coupons, they are coupons put out by the store, Target. Target, Albies, Walmart, whoever accepts a store coupon is not reimbursed. It's just like them giving you a lower price on the item. Am I making any sense? I've now told you most of what I know about Walmart: they should take competitor coupons, sometimes they do, sometimes they don't.
I hope that essay is helpful. :)

I went to Walmart on Cole/Overland this afternoon. The cashier would not accept my internet printed coupons. She said that store has discontinued taking IP coupons for over a month now. She said 'too many people are taking advantage of coupons & expect things for free'. I'm so frustrated!!

You can also use other Kraft coupons: Bagelfuls are $1.88, so with your $1.00 off coupon, they are $.88 a box. The sqeezable miracle whip/mayo are $2.00 use your $1.00 off and you get that for $1.00. At our Wal Mart, most of the crackers are marked down to $2.00, use your dollar off coupons and get them for a dollar. We even had the big boxes of Summer Ritz in the dollar aisle. Those werre free!!!! Lysol is 2.50, use your $2.00 coupon from a few weeks ago and it's fifty cents a can. The little glade smellies that you can get the free tin with, come with a coupon for $1.50 off a refill. Those are on sale at Walgreens this week 2/$5, so you get them 2/$2. Just a few match-ups without using competitor coupons for great deals!

Walmart in Brigham City/Perry has Glade PlugIns Scented Oil Lasting Impressions holder on sale for $5.00 and with the coupon $4/1 in SS 5/10 it makes them $1.00. They also had Glade Sense & Spray starter kit for $5.00 and with the $4/1 makes them $1.00 too.
