I have a question, but wasn't really sure where to post it. I just started subscribing to multiple copies of the Press Tribune. I received six copies today. All had the Smartsource and P&G inserts, but ONLY ONE had the Red Plum insert. What happened??? Also, is there no add from Michaels? I was hoping for the 40% off one item coupons...

That happened to me last week with the tribune and this week they only delivered one paper instead of all my copies. It's really frustrating. I am going to call tomarrow morning first thing.

I have not gotten all my inserts from the Press Tribune a few times before. It is very frustrating, but if you call and let them know you didn't receive them they will bring them to you the next day.

I have had to call the Press Tribune at least half of the Sundays since I started getting it about 3 months ago. Last week I asked for a different delivery person and they said they can't accomodate requests for different people. But, they do always bring whatever is missing, even if it's not until Tuesday, or in one case, Wednesday (annoying, but at least it wasn't doublers that week!). When my 6 months is up, I'm definitely switching.

Hey Jenny....

I got 3 tribunes and a statesman today. If you want to private message me... I'd be happy to mail you the adverts for michaels.

Only request in return is that you save me any Bayer Glucose meter coupons you might have or get in the future... it's a real pain being diabetic without insurance....costs me $200 a month for strips alone!! So anyone who wants to donate their meter Q's is an angel in my eyes.

I also have oodles of personal care and baby Q's I save to trade... so let me know ladies.
BTW.. I never trade IPs... these are news paper Q's. ;o)

Was there a michael's coupon in the press tribune or was that just in the statesman?

I've had lots of problems with the Nampa paper too. They DO always bring me my missing inserts or papers, but its annoying.

Hey Sylvia-

I'd be happy to trade! How do I contact you?

Thanks for commiserating, everyone. It's comforting to know I'm not alone in this frustration. I will contact the Press Tribune in the morning!

Sylvia... I have 4 meter qs... I can never find them in stock to get the Wags RR on them, so I'm happy to pass them along!

Heather... Joanie, are you online stalking the ONWeekly site tonight?

Jenny and Rosie...

I have an email I use strictly for coupon stuff. sylviascoupons@gmail.com Contact me there and we'll trade adresses.

Let me know what you want me to look for or what you need. I'm well past baby stage... so anyone who wants them can have them when I get 'em. I also try to notice where the pads are and take a few when I can to pass along. So let me know.

My mom works for Michaels and she was telling me last summer that during the summer months they only put out an ad every two weeks, so if you don't receive one some weeks this could be why.

moure doubler ideas... the "Over the Moon" fat free milk is really good, and a good price if you double the $1 coupon we got a few weeks ago. The chocolate is seriously awesome. Special K is on sale for $2.50... double the $1 coupon (wasn't it in yesterday's inserts?).

I just wanted to help clear up some of the confusion on the doublers. first there were no guidelines for the doublers other then what was printed on them. now they seem to revise the policy almost every week, the people making the rules are not in the stores so the rules sometimes dont work! it was sent down from corporate two weeks ago that you could not double a $1.00 coupon on a $1.99 item because there is one cent difference. this caused all sorts of problems so they have now this week come back from corporate allowing us to use a doubler and just adjust the second amount down to .99cents or .50 cents if it were 1.50 with a 1.00 off coupon. you are allowed to get it for free just not $ back:-) hope it helps, thought I could give some help from the other side of the counter:-)

I had a long talk with Amy from corporate yesterday.. she's actually the DM for Oregon. I was spitting mad at Albertsons and swear I'll not go back until ya'll get your act together. I spend a LOT of time (study time) to put together deals and go shop... I was told Sunday that "you can only use 3 doublers per day per family" WTF?! Screw that.... shoved my cart at the KID and came home and wrote a scathing email to SUPERVALU and Called as well.

Albertson's is in danger of creating a bunch of disloyalty... they better get it fixed soon...We can all take our $$ elsewhere... and If one more snot nosed poorly trained brat... Grrrr...

They just need to fix it... all the way around.

there was a ethics poll and when it was completed heather invited everyone to take a poll on there favorite albies checkers. I have had issues with a few but usually have good experiences so im just curious since I cant find it....help:-)

I agree that there are a few gems in the bunch. The problem I have is the ones who have NO idea what they are talking about and incentuate you are a criminal. It really doesn't matter if it's Albies, Freddy's, Wags, or any other company... in my opinion... I've been in Idaho for 14 years now and I have had the WORST experiences with sales personnel and cashiers. I won't go into it, but this Valley in general needs a huge wake up call.... and some serious customer service training.

I used to mystery shop and a good 95% of the stores in this area failed the "outstanding" service catagory. Others failed the entire thing.
