Ahem. . . . 2 Grahams, 2 Chocolate, 2 Marshmallows= $2.00!

This Krazy scenario **is** too good to be true!! Though verified by reader, Lindsey, this has not worked for all of our readers!

I edited out the bad info and below is your easy breezy S'more deal! Accurate this time!
It utilizes the following promo:
Save $3 instantly x2 for each set of s'mores

Here's the Scenario:

Buy (2) Hershey's Chocolate 6 pack $3.00
Buy (2) Honey Maid Grahams $3.00
Buy (2) Jet-puffed Marshmallows $1.00
Buy All 3 in 1 Transaction and Save $3 Instantly
Please Note*** I purchased 2 sets in one transaction today, and it only took off (1) $3 Savings- so be sure to watch the register, and have them take it off again, if the computer missed it.
Double (2) $1/1 the Honey-Maid Grahams, wyb Marshmallows & Hersheys from SS 5/17
-0r- not as good a deal, but if you don't have the other coupons
Double (1) $1/2 6 pack Hershey coupon from SS 6/28

Final Price: $2.00

How is it free? I am really confused, the grahams and the chocolate are 3.00 each and the marshmallows are 1.00 each so when you buy two sets of these then the total will come to 14.00. With the 3.00 off instantly for each set it will then be 8.00. Then using the 1.00 coupons and doublers you take off another 6.00. So, then your total comes down to 2.00. Is there something with the mac and cheese that gives you more money off?

be careful when you do this promotion. I went to Albertsons yesterday and got the chocolate, grahams and marshmallows. They didn't take off the 3 dollars, and then they charged me 2.95 for the marshmallows when they were on sale 10/10. My cashier went and looked at every item before giving me the money off! It's a great deal when everything was said and done!

The reason it's all free is because Lindsey discovered the grams, mallows and chocolate are also part of the epic promo.

I tried this and they said the hershey's wasn't part of the epic promo because it had it's own promo with the s'mores promo.

if the hershey's isn't part of it you can add 2 boxes of mac and cheese. that makes 10 epics for $5 and then you get a $2 cat!

This transaction essentially causes you to use 2 manufacturers coupons for the Hershey bars...not sure if that's something that really should be done... even if you CAN do it.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong-- but had the same problem-- deal didn't work. :(

Jessica,
Good point on the Hershey's. Didn't notice that right off when I got the info for this post. I changed the transaction to not include that extra Hershey's coupon.
As far as the Hershey's not being included in the Epic Promo, I'm looking into it now.
Check out the comment by EllasMom for a great variation on this deal.

Paying $1 for 2 grahams, 2 marshmallows, 2 hersheys and 4 mac n cheese isn't bad, right??

4 sets would be about
$9 w/ only chocolate coupons-add 2 extra MM to it to make sure you get epic promo. Not the best but still about .70 cents an item.

Okay,
When I look at the UPC list for the Epic promo, I'm not seeing any of the S'mores stuff now. Were you ladies only told that the hershey's wasn't a part of Epic Promo?

Heather is following up with the reader who shopped this deal and will update with more info later on. For now, I edited the post down to just the s'more deal. Sorry for the bad info!

I don't have the graham cracker or marshmellow coupons. :( That really stinks.

Arin said...

yeah it's a promo all on its own-not in the epic promo. I bought 4 sets $28. -$12 promo, -$4 coupons + doublers on the chocolate =$12
Still not bad. If you have any of the survey catalinas that would bring this down more.

It so worked for me today. I made sure that the $3.00 was taken off. Well actually $6.00. b/c I bought 2 of each. I couldn't believe my eyes. These are the moments that make it all worth while.

I paid $.58 for 1 graham cracker, 1 chocolate, and 2 marshmallows!!

Used the $1 MFQ graham cracker, $.75 off hersheys peelie found a couple weeks back, and $1/2 tearpad booklet for the marshmallows!!

Sweet deal!!!

Can you tell me where it's advertised about the $3 off instantly? Is that an Albertson's deal or other? I didn't get the $3 off today and if I go back to ask I want to know what I'm talking about! Thanks, Cheri

I was wondering the same thing. I tried this today and it did not take 6 dollars off. I tried to find where it was advertised so I could go back in. Any help?
