That butter sale ROCKS. I kept buying 2, taking them out to my car, and then buying 2 more. I bottle butter and I want more on hand. So I got 6.

basically you melt it, and then can it. But there are several steps involved in order to get it right.
Just a heads up for those of you who are slightly paranoid about canning exactly to specifications. Canning butter isn't recommended by the county extension office or the bible of canning "The Ball Blue Book." They say it's not really canning the butter, it is just melting it and putting it in a hot jar. No processing involved. You might want to research it before you do it.
When I bought the butter, they had peelies for $0.30 off, making the butter $1.17/lb.
Has anyone actally SEEN the arrowhead in stock?? I went to 36th and The one on greenhurst. no luck. TIA
the arrowhead is at 36th I bought some there on saturday and sunday 6 cases in all, they are the regular bottles not the ones with the pop up spout but they are also selling them for 2.00 instead of 2.77 each case!!
