Heather or Joanie I can't e-mail you directly but just so people know there are no doublers available at the stores. My regular store did not get any for customers to get in the stores, so I asked if that was everyone and they called sever other stores just to verify they did not have doublers also.....big frown :-) the only way to get them is thru the statesman!!

my coupons.com shows the hefty cups coupon as a $1.00 off TWO packages...

A lot of the coupons on your list for doubles say do not double on them. Albertson's policy has changed to not allow them to double those coupons. My store by the stadium in Caldwell has even stopped allowing people to do there own coupons at the self check out because people were using doublers with do not double coupons (at least that's what the checker I asked told me.) So I guess heads up, depending on the people at the store you may not be able to use the doublers with those coupons.

What is happening? I didn't get doulblers in my statesman!
Where are they?

The Hefty Cups coupon is for $1/2, not $1/1 like you have listed...

No doublers in any of my Idaho Press Tribunes...:(

Ann said...

Be sure to look in your A section for the doublers - in the Oregonian, they were on page A9, not part of a separate Albertson's flier.

The Doublers were in the actual paper, not an insert...in the press tribune they were on pg A12? or A14? I think. So, get your paper out and go through every page, hopefully they're in there.

Also, there was a coupon for $1/3 cans of libby veggies in the Parade.

The doublers in the Idaho Press Trib are on page A-14. There are 3 of them.

I have never had anyone question a "do not double" coupon at albertsons, the whole point is that they are choosing to double the coupons not the manufacturer, even coupons that dont say "do not double" do not get double value back from the manufacturer. if someone was doing that to me I would find a different store:-)

The Nature Valley nut clusters are not on sale and are not part of the promo. I tried to do the spend $20 with them and they are not even on sale for $2.50

I'm finding that either the math is off this week or I'm missing something. For example, Ziploc Sandwich Bags 100 ct. $2.50
Double the $1/2 from 7/26
Final Price: $.88
If you buy two for $5.00 double the $1 off you are paying $3 for two. So the final price is $1.50 each plus tax. I found this on alot of Albie's examples this week. Am I missing something?

Quaker True Delights granola bars are on sale 2/$5, double the $1/1 coupon in today's insert and they're only $.50. I thought that was a pretty good deal!

OK...a dumb question from a mom whose kids are not in school yet - what should I do with that box top catalina??? I don't want to just toss it, so if anyone could let me know what to do with it, I'd appreciate it!
Thanks, KCL's... :O)

UGH. No doublers in Utah. Where is the love!?

Cathy said...

Meridian Mama - There a lot of moms whose kids would love some! You can email me at fabulesslyfrugal at gmail dot com and I'll take em off your hands! I'm willing to mail you a stamped envelope if you'll mail yours to me! :)

Dondillissa said...

Meridian Mama - don't toss it! Those boxtop catalinas are worth $5to a school! You could drop it off at your neighborhood school or give it to someone who attends that school. If all else fails, I'll take it!!

CALL Albertsons corporate customer service line. Just last week I was informed that these are NOT doubler coupons. The coupons are "Twice the Value" coupons and are doubled through the store, not the manufacturer. Therefore, any stores who won't double manufacturer coupons that say "Do not double" are incorrect.

Thrifty Queen said...

Albies in Eagle will not double coupons that say "no doubling" how do we get them educated!!! Please help me!!

Anna said...

Carla The Ziplock bags are part of the Boxtop promo where you spend $25 and you get a $5 catalina back for your next shopping trip. The final price of .88 is after factoring in the $5 catalina.

Can anyone find the ziploc sandwhich bags in boise? Its odd I've been to five mile/Overland and Orchard/Overland and they simply don't have them even on the shelf like they never ordered them. They have other sizes but not the sandwhich?

lbellmer said...

I haven't been able to find the ziploc sandwich bags either! And you're right, there isn't even a tag on the shelf for them -- if they were stocked! At least at the Albertsons in Eagle.

Terry said...

heatherlf - I noticed the same thing, I couldnt find them at Cole and Fairview or Five Mile and Overland. I really wanted to stock up on some of those.

Amber Red said...

you can also buy ritz crackers & the crackerfuls for .99 cents.

Use the 1 off crackerfuls double it
and then use the buy ritz and get crackerfuls free

heatherlf said...

Ya the ziploc thing is odd I even asked the managers at both stores stating it was odd that it was in the add to not have it in the store. One said he'd substitute anything but it wouldn't trigger the catalina I thought. bummer I needed them for my kids classes.

Collette said...

When it states the following:

Use the $1/2 from 8/2

Where do I retrieve this coupon from and is it from the internet or a newspaper coupon?

Thanks so much!
Collette.

Heather Wheeler said...

Collette-
$1/2 means $1 off 2 items
8/2 refers to the date the coupon came out in the Sunday paper, so in this case August 2nd
Hope this helps!
