A little Restaurant.com info for newbies. Restaurants.com is a form of advertising for many restaurants looking for more customers. Restaurant owners sacrifice on their price margin but in return get new customers. On the restaurant.com website, you'll be asked to enter your zip code and it will pull up participating restaurants in your area. Then you will see a list of restaurants and a selection of gift card prices. A $25 gift card is regularly priced at $10 (so 80% off means you'll pay only $2). The only catch is there is a minimum purchase amount: clearly listed under the gift card prices. Usually the customer must have a total initial bill of $35. Then you pay with your $25 gift card and your total could be as low as $10 plus gratuity for a $35 meal. It's as simple as that. Don' be a skeptic! Once you pay for your gift card you may print it immediately from your computer- so you could dine for lunch or dinner today if you wish! They don't expire for a whole year

I love restaurants.com, but I warn people to read the fine print. I just bought one, that after I paid and printed, said on the coupon that it was $75 off a $150 meal. There is no way that I am going to purchase the other $75 half of the meal, so I won't use the coupon. BUT, other restraunts are GREAT! So just read the fine print!

we have found with restaurants like corinos where we save $50.00 off a $100 bill we order our food we want to eat usually we eat salad and bread sticks and soup then take our dinner home so we get dessert. so we have lunch for the next day or the next nights dinner and then we order a whole nother dinner to take with us and i just package it up and freez it for use in a couple of days and it will only take 10 mins to throw a salad together and heat up the pasta so for just over 50 bucks we had dinner 1 soup salad and bread sticks and dessert/ dinner 2 salad pasta / dinner 3 soup ( from them) and three full entrees to share and split up! less then 20 bucks for a full meal...ends up being a pretty good deal!!

Thats a good idea rattriffic.
Ya you can read the little area below the coupon amount most are double what you buy it for that you have to spend but still I good deal. Also most add a 18-20% tip when they give you your meal. Most nice places we tip that much but if the service isn't great no way.

Do these certificates really work if you take them in to the restaurant---where they're printed off your printer?
